Is Zumper data accurate? ›

Zumper's data is, of course, based on apartments that are for rent and doesn't include currently occupied units. That alone skews high, especially when there is a lot of higher-rent new construction hitting the market. Also, it looks like Zumper's data skews towards higher-end neighborhoods.

When it comes to answering that question, there's no universal answer other than, “1 or more”. If you haven't purchased your first rental property yet, start at 1. Regardless of your investment experience, the best answer for you is going to come down to your goals.

Zumper does this in two ways: Landlords pay to get their listings pushed towards the top of the search results. Zumper takes a fee off of each lease it closes.

To delete a Zumper account, please click on your name in the top right corner of the screen and then select “Account” from the dropdown menu options. From the Account page, select the “Delete Account” tab on the left side of the page and follow the prompts from there!
