Money Bouquet Tutorial - Inspiration Made Simple (1)

Gifting money isn’t my favorite because I like to put a lot of thought and effort into the gifts I give. It’s not about the monetary value for me – it’s about showing the person how much I care for them by listening to them and really knowing who they are. I can show them that I value you them by creating a gift tailored to their likes, dislikes, etc. But sometimes, cash IS the way to go and there is now way I’m going to just put it in an envelope! I came up with this Money Boquet Tutorial on the fly and am pretty happy with the result!

Quick Update: I’ve been introduced to Washi Tape since first creating this tutorial and would recommend using that over a clear tape option as it is less likely to rip the bills!

SUPPLIES:
Bills of any nomination
Lollipop Sticks
Washi Tape
Flower Pot or other dish
Shredded Paper

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1 – fold the bill accordion style.

Your first flower of the Money Bouquet is done! Create as many as you want. For this example I used 5 one’s, 2 five’s, and 1 ten. Stuff a flower pot with shredded paper and arrange your flowers. I also added a Merry Christmas topper that I punched out with my scallop punch and glued to a stick.

Another fun money gift idea is making Dollar Bill Origami Shirts. I followed this Origami Shirt Tutorial from Homemade Gifts Made Easy. Once my shirts were made, I cheekily wrapped them up in a shirt box.

What other ways do you gift money? I’ve also done a pop top can and a money lei.
